Pranayama is the fourth limb of Yoga's eight-field path, and it focuses on the mind and respiratory organs.
Pranayama's purpose is to improve the body-mind connection while encouraging calm and mindfulness. It is both a physical and a meditation exercise.
Can Pranayama help treat Cancer - Although Pranayama cannot cure Cancer, it can help patients manage the symptoms of cancer treatment and repair the mental-emotional stress they suffered during their treatment. It's a safe and efficient strategy to combat many of Cancer's unpleasant physical and psychological impacts.

Exercise 1: Nadi Shuddhi Pranayama (Alternate Nostril Breathing) Relax your body and mind, reduce anxiety, get a better night's sleep, and improve overall health.
How to practise:
1. Close your right nostril with your thumb to allow intake solely through the left. Take a deep breath in and out.
2. With your ring finger, close your left nostril and exhale slowly through your right.
3. Inhale through your right nostril while remaining in the same position.
4. With your thumb, close the right nostril and exhale slowly through the left.
5. Continue in this manner for a total of ten rounds.
Exercise 2: Bhramari Pranayama is the second exercise (Humming Bee Breath) Bhramari Pranayama,relax your body and mind, reduce anxiety, get a better night's sleep, and improve your general well-being.
How to practise:
1. Sit in any comfortable crossed-leg position with your back and neck straight.
2. Keep your tongue close to your upper palate and your lips closed.
3. Cover your eyes with the remaining fingers and close your ears with your thumbs.
4. Inhale deeply and make a humming bee sound with your throat while expelling.
5. Repeat for a total of 10 rounds.
Exercise 3: Breathing with your hands in and out
Benefits: Overcome weariness, keep your mind engaged so you can go on with your day, and improve your overall well-being.
How to do it:
1. Sit with your back straight and your arms extended in front of you, palms facing each other.
2. Spread the hands and open the chest as you inhale, then draw the hands together as you exhale.
3. Repeat for a total of ten rounds.
4. After inhaling with your hands spread, hold your breath for a few seconds and then relax.
