Digital Desk: In a significant step towards fostering unity and religious coexistence, the foundation stone for the much-anticipated mosque, Masjid Muhammad Bin Abdullah, is set to be laid in Ayodhya.

This historical moment will be marked by the Imam-e-Haram, the distinguished leader of prayers at the holy mosque in Mecca, underlining the global importance of this project.

The mosque, situated 25km from Ayodhya in Dhannipur, is part of the resolution of the Ayodhya dispute, guided by the Supreme Court's order.

Haji Arafat Shaikh, a BJP leader from Mumbai, has assumed the role of Chairman of the Masjid Muhammad Bin Abdullah's Development Committee.

According to reports, this mosque is destined to be the largest in India, encompassing not only spiritual significance but also cultural and educational dimensions. A notable feature is the colossal Quran, measuring 21 feet high and 36 feet wide, making it the world's largest.

The Indo-Islamic Cultural Foundation, established in July 2020, has been at the forefront of constructing the Ayodhya mosque.
In October, during a ceremony attended by esteemed clerics and foundation chairman Zufar Ahmed Farooqui in Mumbai, the mosque's name and design were unveiled.

With five minarets symbolizing the pillars of Islam, the mosque stands as a testament to the principles of kalima, namaz, roza, Haj, and zakat.

Haji Arafat Shaikh, now entrusted with leading the mosque's development committee, envisions a multifaceted complex. In addition to the mosque, the premises will house a cancer hospital, schools, colleges, a museum, a library, and a unique vegetarian kitchen providing free meals to visitors.

Among the planned attractions is a large aquarium adjacent to the ablution area, featuring separate sections for men and women.

Shaikh boldly claims that the mosque's aesthetics will surpass even the Taj Mahal, a symbol of India's architectural grandeur.

The evening ambiance will be heightened by fountains synchronizing with the call for evening prayers, creating a spectacle that transcends religious boundaries. Shaikh envisions Masjid Muhammad Bin Abdullah not just as a place of worship but as a monument to peace and harmony, drawing people of all faiths to witness its magnificence.
