Digital Desk: Lata Mangeshkar tested positive for covid-19. The 92-year-old-singer is currently receiving treatment at Mumbai's Breach Candy hospital's intensive care unit (ICU).
Rachna, the niece of Lata Mangeskar, confirms that the Bharat Ratna recipient is suffering from moderate symptoms. She has been transferred to the intensive care unit (ICU) due to her advanced age-related health difficulties.

Lata Mangeshkar, born on September 28, 1929, has received numerous national and international prizes, including the Dadasaheb Phalke Decoration and France's highest civilian award, Officer of the Legion of Honour. She was named the most recorded artist in history by the Guinness Book of Records in 1974. Between 1948 and 1974, she has sung approximately 25,000 songs.
In November 2019, Lata Mangeshkar was brought to the hospital due to viral chest congestion; later, she recovered from the infection. In 2001, she was awarded the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian honour.
