The best 18 “best nations” have not been listed independently. Brazil and China are both among them. India has been grouped in the serious category.

Madagascar, Democratic Republic of Congo, Chad, Central African Republic, Yemen, Burundi, Comoros, South Sudan, and the Syrian Arab Republic were alarming. Solely Somalia is highlighted in the remarkably alarming section.
In 2020, India was the worst-performing nation in the child wasting frequency. Wasting in children is the state in which they have “low weight for their height, indicating intense undernutrition”.
Pakistan (92), Nepal(76) and Bangladesh(76) have all prospered healthy than India in the Global Hunger Index 2021. Particularly 15 nations have been grouped below India in the index in the year 2021.
The report asserts that there is a threat of nations not approaching zero hunger by 2030. “The 2021 Global Hunger Index (GHI) points to a dire hunger situation in a world coping with multiple crises. Progress toward Zero Hunger by 2030, already far too slow, is showing signs of stagnating or even being reversed,” stated the statement.
