Digital Desk: Two more people have been detained by Delhi Police in connection with the major security breach at the Parliament. Sai Krishna, the son of a former Deputy Superintendent of Police from Bagalkote, Karnataka, is one of them.
According to reports, Sai Krishna is a techie and a friend of Manoranjan D, one of the Parliament intruders who, on December 13, entered the Lok Sabha chamber and burst canisters of yellow gas. Manoranjan is one of four defendants in the case who are now being prosecuted under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, an anti-terrorism law.
Manoranjan and Sai Krishna were classmates at an engineering institution in Bengaluru. He was working from home when he was taken into custody by the Delhi Police yesterday evening at 10 p.m. from his Bagalkote residence. He is being taken to the capital of the country to be questioned.
Atul Kulshreshtha, a resident of Jalaun, Uttar Pradesh, has been recognised as another guy apprehended by the Delhi Police. According to an initial inquiry, Atul, also known as "Baccha," has never been convicted of a crime and has no political membership, but since he was a student, he has been fervently committed to Shaheed Bhagat Singh's philosophy.
He was arrested by the Delhi Police and taken into custody to be questioned after it was discovered that he had been recorded conversing with the Parliament invaders on Facebook. Atul, who is associated with the Bhagat Singh Fans Club, was involved in the farmers' movement and used to arrange gatherings.
Upon the arrival of media representatives at Atul's residence, the family declined to provide comments. Atul is a mother of two sons and one daughter.
As of now, six persons have been taken into custody in relation to the December 13 security breach at Parliament. Among the suspects who have been detained are Manoranjan and Sagar Sharma, who entered the Lok Sabha without authorization; Amol Shinde and Neelam Azad, who deployed smoke canisters outside Parliament; Lalit Jha, who is said to have been the mastermind behind the security breach; and Mahesh Kumawat, who is said to have assisted Jha.
According to the invaders' statements to the police, their goal was to raise awareness of the problems facing farmers, unemployment, and instability in Manipur. Nonetheless, police have stated that they are looking into every possibility.
