Karthik, the child, complained to Palamaner circle inspector N Bhaskar about tractors impeding traffic and dug-up roadways. He asked the officer to come to the location and resolve the problem.
The small boy's confidence pleased on-duty cops, who gave him candy and informed him that his complaint would be investigated and the problem would be remedied.
The officer also provided the youngster his phone number and instructed him to call him if he had any problems on his way to school.
Due to continuing drainage construction, the road near the school is dug up, causing traffic jams.
In a very comparable instance in the state last year, a Class three child in Andhra Pradesh's Kurnool filed a police complaint against his friend for taking his pencils. The complainant was identified as Hanmanthu, who went to the police station and demanded that a theft case be filed against his friend.
Hanmanthu, a student at a private college in Peddakadabur in the Kurnool district, said that his friend was taking his pencils and cash on a daily basis. He grabbed his friend red-handed and took him to the police station, where he explained to the policeman that his pencils were missing and demanded punishment.
The policemen broke out laughing after receiving such unusual allegations, but they did file a case against the accused. Nonetheless, the accused could be launched on bail and his dad and mom could be delivered to the police station, cops stated.
