Under the operation, India targeted nine terror infrastructures of Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in a precision strike to avenge the deadly Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, which took 27 civilians' lives.

Digital Desk: The Indian Armed Forces killed 5 high-profile terrorists affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) among the 100 terrorists on May 7, when India launched 'Operation Sindoor'.

Under the operation, India targeted nine terror infrastructures of Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in a precision strike to avenge the deadly Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, which took 27 civilians' lives.

The key terrorists killed in the May 7 strikes were Mudassar Khadian Khas, Hafiz Muhammed Jameel, Mohammad Yusuf Azhar, Khalid, and Mohammad Hassan Khan, sources said.

Some of the top Pakistani officers had attended the funeral of these terrorists, exposing the country's involvement in terrorism and backing of various designated terrorist organisations.

    1. Mudassar Khadian Khas alias Mudassar alias Abu Jundal

Khas was affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba, leading the charge of Markaz Taiba, a terror camp of Muridke, Pakistan. Ajmal Kasab, the only terrorist caught alive by the Indian armed forces during the 2008 Mumbai Attacks, received training at the camp. Another terrorist involved in the same terror attacks, David Headley, was also trained here. Khas was given a guard of honour at his funeral by the top Pakistani Army officials.

    2. Hafiz Muhammed Jameel

Jameel was affiliated with Jaish-e-Mohammed, the eldest brother-in-law of Maulana Masood Azhar, and the founder of JeM. He was in charge of Markaz Subhan Allah in Bahawalpur. At least 10 family members and four aides of Masood Azhar were killed during India's strikes in Pakistan and PoK on May 7.

    3. Mohammad Yusuf Azhar alias Ustad Ji alias Mohd Salim alias Ghosi Sahab

Azhar was associated with Jaish-e-Mohammed and was also Masood Azhar's brother-in-law. He handled weapon training for the JeM. Yusuf Azhar has been involved in various terror attacks across J&K. He was involved in the hijacking of the IC-814 plane in 1999, which led to the release of Masood Azhar in exchange for plane hostages.

    4. Khalid alias Abu Akasha

Khalid, a Lashkar-e-Taiba affiliated terrorist, was involved in multiple terror attacks in J&K. He was also engaged in weapons smuggling from Afghanistan for the LeT. Several senior officials of Pakistan attended his funeral in Faisalabad.

    5. Mohammad Hassan Khan

Hassan Khan was a Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist and son of Mufti Asghar Khan Kashmiri, the operational head of JeM in PoK. He was involved in multiple terror attacks in J&K.
