Rajasthan Royals had a solid start to the season, winning their first two games convincingly, but RCB halted their momentum.
Digital Desk: Rajasthan Royals (RR) conveniently started this season by winning two matches, and the Royal Challengers Bangalore stalled the third match.
However, as they prepare to face the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), who are on a three-match winning streak, captain Sanju Samson and the team management will be pleased with their performance thus far. They began their campaign with a 61-run victory over SunRisers Hyderabad, followed by a 23-run victory over Mumbai Indians.
Riyan's form has been poor this season, and he may lose his starting spot according to the RR XI prediction against LSG.
Here seems to be RR's predicted XI for their match against LSG:
The Team includes Jos Butler, with a score of 100 and 70 not out in his last two innings for RR.
Yashasvi Jaiswal was retained by Rajasthan but hasn't yet found his footing. However, they are likely to back him to come good.
Devdutt Padikkal is playing a new role at No.3 and has made some handy contributions.
Sanju Samson is yet to impose himself in this year's edition of the IPL. He scored one half-century and played another excellent knock against Mumbai Indians.
Shimron Hetmyer has been brilliant for RR so far, and they will want him to carry on his excellent form.
James Neesham, the New Zealand all-rounder, could replace Riyan Parag, who has yet to appear for RR this season. Neesham can easily hit big shots and offer a few overs with the ball.
Ravichandran Ashwin, the veteran Indian spinner, has been in excellent form this season, and RR will be hoping that he can keep mauling the opposition for runs.
Navdeep Saini, a former RCB pacer, can be pricey at times, but he has three wickets in two games and is expected to stay with Rajasthan.
New Zealand fast bowler Trent Boult was expected to lead Rajasthan's pace attack, and he has delivered, taking five wickets in three matches.
Yuzvendra Chahal has been the highlights, With seven wickets, of RR's bowling attack and will be crucial against LSG's in-form middle order.
Prasidh Krishna is proven by totals of 0/40 and 1/37 in his last two matches, but he can blow the opposition away on his day, and that is what RR is counting on.
This will be the 20th match in IPL 2022; in this match, Rajasthan Royals will be seen playing against Lucknow Super Giants today at 7:30 PM (IST) at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
