Apple's 'Polishing Cloth' worth Rs 1,900 sold out, netizens react

New Delhi: Apple recently launched a product along with its new MacBook Pro and AirPods 3, inviting a queue of hilarious comments by netizens. A polishing cloth launched by Apple to clean Apple devices, has become the subject of chatter among the netizens. The Cupertino tech major launched a special polishing cloth for its gadgets and it is priced at USD 20 (Rs 1900).

The cloth was specially launched to clean any Apply display, “including nano-texture glass,” safely and effectively. However, the exorbitant price for something simple like a cleaning cloth sparked a lot of reactions on Twitter.

While many expressed that selling a polishing cloth for that amount was nothing but ridiculous, others didn’t waste much time to share funny memes regarding the product. And that’s not all, the jokes peaked when users found out that there was a list of compatible devices for this product launched by Apple.

Not only the price and the compatibility, but the company also introduced EMI option for this product as well! Needless to say, all these served as a perfect fodder for hilarious comments and joked compiled some of the best ones that will make you giggle, laugh-out-loud even if you are a loyal follower of Apple.

The surprising factor however, is the demand for the cloth that has rippled its sale in the last few days since its launch. The current wait time to receive the cloth is almost two months. In India, if you had to place an order, at the time of writing this article, October 21, your apple polishing cloth would reach between 1 December– 11 December.
