Digital Desk: It looks like Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck will no longer be husband and wife, as their marriage has now been dissolved for two years. As per report of the split, is mutual and both parties agree to the decision and its terms.
They got wedlock in Las Vegas, in the year 2022 but Lopez file for divorce in August 2024, while stating that they have been separated since 26th April 2024. They were very public and, being seen everywhere together for the past months and then; Lopez recently performing at high-profile instances such as the 2024 Met Gala alone.
It was arranged that upon their divorce Lopez and Affleck each switched over their salaries, wages and whatever income they each earned while married and permanently they are not pertinent to pay each other alimony. Lopez will also return to her birth name although she earlier used ‘Affleck’ for sometime after getting married.
Talking to comedian Nikki Glaser, Lopez said that the break up left her emotionally devastated calling it the time when “her world just imploded.” She showed them her path toward enlightenment, saying, “You have to be fine on your own. I remembered that I knew that but I was wrong. Lopez also stated she has no specific intent of finding a new man and stated “What it if I am just free?”
Since the separation, Lopez has been involved in an independent transformation or self and family rediscovery programme. However, the two have been able to remain romantic once they separated meaning they are on speaking terms. They have gone to families functions together through; a family event in September with their children and a holiday dinner .During the holiday season they dined together in Los Angeles.
Lopez stated: “During such times one has to take time and recoup or to try and find oneself again in order to progress.”
