    Recently, a husband and woman who were sleeping in their room with the gas heater on appear to have died from suffocation in the Sambhal area of Uttar Pradesh.


    Despite being generally safe, gas heaters can sometimes leak gas if they are not installed or maintained properly.


    Lack of fresh air can increase the air's quantity of deadly carbon monoxide, which can poison people and even kill them.

    · Pets and children should never be allowed to come close to the heater. 


    · Turn off the heater and unplug it before leaving the room or going to bed to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning.


    · Too much carbon monoxide in the rooms might cause headaches, dizziness, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and weakness.
