    Two people perished in Bharuch and three in Dahod from lightning strikes. The following places had one death each: Amreli, Kheda, Sabarkantha, Botad, Dwarka, Panchmahal, Surendranagar, and Surat.


    Additionally, other lightning events claimed the lives of at least 40 animals.


    The Khanderi Cricket Stadium in Rajkot sustained significant damage due to floods. The loss is expected to be between Rs 1.5 and Rs 2 crore, according to sources. The downpour in Morbi, Saurashtra, prompted the closure of industrial and ceramic businesses.
