Army schools issues advisory over Pak Intel Operatives aiming Students In Jammu To Seek Sensitive Info
Advisory issued by Army Public School administrators, PIOs are questioning students about things...

Digital Desk: As reported by Army officials, several kids, including those from Army Public Schools here, are receiving calls and WhatsApp messages from Pakistani Intelligence Operatives (PIOs) urging them to join specific social media groups and disclose vital information.

However, Students reported receiving calls and WhatsApp messages from PIOs at two cell phone numbers: 8617321715 and 9622262167.

According to the sources, individuals posing as school teachers target students by inviting them to join "new class groups" and emailing them one-time passwords (OTPs), and once the students join the groups, they are urged to disclose critical information.

Reportedly, these alleged PIOs are calling and sending messages by referring to something familiar to the kids in order to convince them that it is their teachers who are contacting them.

According to an instruction issued by Army Public School administrators, PIOs are interrogating pupils about things such as their father's employment, school routine and timings, teachers' names, uniforms, and so on.

It is requested that schools and universities educate instructors and students about the issue.

The alert stated that the messages could come from other phone numbers and that the mode of operation could vary.

It encouraged the students' parents to be on the lookout for any unusual phone calls.
