Digital Desk: In the Chhawla area in southwest Delhi, an auto-rickshaw driver and other males got into a brawl, which led to the stabbing of a Delhi Police head constable, who was then taken to the hospital.
According to a senior police source, the incident happened on Sunday night while Assistant Sub-Inspector Sunil and head constable Rinku of the Chhawla Police Station were on patrol in the Qutub Vihar area. At 8.35 pm, they received a call reporting a dispute in the area. According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka) Harsha Vardhan, the patrolling staff saw some males were fighting with an auto driver when they arrived at the scene.
When police arrived, one of the individuals battling the car driver stabbed Rinku twice before fleeing. Sunny alias Shooter, a local felon with a history of crime, was named as the man. When Rinku arrived at the hospital, the DCP reported that he had sustained serious stabbing wounds. He said that he is currently in the ICU.

Police apprehended three people in total from the home and took a country-made pistol, three live rounds, and a knife from them. The police stated they are on the lookout for anyone else connected to the event.
