    Digital Desk:  By forming the Screening Committee, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has taken an important step towards preparation for the 2023 Assembly Elections in Rajasthan. The formation of the committee intends to provide a disciplined and transparent selection procedure for the party's candidates.


    The party anticipates a rigorous review of potential candidates under the capable leadership of Member of Parliament and Deputy Leader of the Opposition Party in Lok Sabha Gaurav Gogoi, who has been selected as Chairman of the Screening Committee. 


    Ganesh Godiyal and Abhishek Dutt, who will play critical roles in assessing and shortlisting the most qualified and dedicated persons to represent the party in the elections, will join Gogoi.


    However, the committee hopes to ensure that the voice of every citizen is heard in the party's candidate selection process by gathering a broad panel of experienced leaders.
