Agneepath Scheme Protest: 'Youth are destroyed by drugs and PUBG,' said Kangana Ranaut

Known for her outspoken positions on political and national issues, Kangana Ranaut compared the newly announced Agneepath scheme to the medieval Gurukul selection process.

Digital Desk: Kangana Ranaut is one of the few celebs who aren't afraid to speak her mind. The actress is unafraid to say what she thinks.

The actress gave her thoughts on the new Agneepath scheme for military recruiting on Saturday, saying she "respected the administration for taking these measures."

"Many nations like Israel have made army training compulsory for all their youth, few years everyone gives to the army to learn life values like discipline, nationalism, and what it means to guard your country's borders, #agneepathscheme has deeper meanings than just getting building careers, employment, or making money," the 'Dhaakad' actor wrote in an Instagram story today.

Kangana Ranaut, who has been an outspoken supporter of the BJP-led federal government, compared the newly announced Agneepath scheme to the historic Gurukul selection procedure.

"Everyone went to Gurukul in the olden days; it's practically like that now, only they get paid to do it," Kangana continued. "Shocking amount of young that's getting wrecked in drugs, and PUBg needs these reforms...appreciate the government for taking these measures."
