On March 30, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj filed a petition in the Delhi High Court against the alleged attack and vandalism of CM Arvind Kejriwal’s official residence.
In his petition, Saurabh Bhardwaj requested the Special Investigation Team (SIT) to conduct an independent, fair, and time-bound criminal investigation into the attack and its perpetrators.
Saurabh Bhardwaj accused BJP workers of attacking his appeal. The appeal stated that it “appears to have been carried out with Delhi Police’s implicit assistance.”
The petition is now being prepared for filing.
The security barrier outside the CM’s house was breached, and the CCTV cameras around CM’s residence were also smashed, according to reports.
Kejriwal slammed the BJP for pushing The Kashmir Files in his speech to the Delhi Assembly. Following the attack on the CM’s residence, Manish Sisodia, the Delhi Deputy Chief Minister, accused the BJP of plotting to assassinate Arvind Kejriwal.
