After the United States, India ranks second in the world regarding the number of emerging unicorns. In the emerging Unicorn race, India is ahead of China.
Digital Desk: Union Minister Piyush Goyal announced on Twitter on Saturday that India is the world's second-most populous country with emerging unicorns, trailing only the United States. In the emerging Unicorn race, India is ahead of China. In comparison, China has 27 emerging Unicorns to India's 32.
Goyal continued, "Our robust & innovative ecosystem enables Indian startups to zoom into the Unicorn club."
According to reports, When a startup's valuation exceeds $1 billion, it is referred to as a unicorn in the financial world.
Last year, the country ranked third globally in terms of total unicorn population.
