    Omar Abdullah: The New Face of J&K Post UT Status

    On Wednesday,Oct 16,2024 Omar Abdullah will sworn in as the current Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir.

    Digital Desk: On Oct 9,2024 Farooq Abdullah the president of NC Congress after the recent assembly election results, announced his son and vice president of NC Congress Omar Abdullah as the upcoming chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir. The alliance won the elections by a lead of 43 seats, overall in Budgam. This was the first election after the abrogation of Article 370.

    Omar Abdullah, an Indian politician was also one of the youngest and 11th Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir after the government was allied with Congress in the year 2009.

    On Wednesday,Oct 16,2024 Omar Abdullah will sworn in as the current Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir. The oath taking ceremony will take place at Sher-i Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC) at 11: 30 am. Governor Manoj Sinha Lieutenant of J&K will administer the oaths of Mr.Abdullah and his members.

    Leading personalities that are expected to be present in this ceremony are  Rahul Gandhi, General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge along with several chief ministers, state representatives, and the other party members of NC Congress.
