Digital Desk: Officials claimed a number of people, including social activists, protested outside the Hurriyat Conference office here on Monday in response to the killing of Kashmiri Pandit Puran Krishan Bhat by terrorists last week.
Protesters gathered outside the office of the Hurriyat led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in Rajbagh. They considered the Hurriyat responsible for the Valley's slaughter.
According to officials, demonstrators daubed "India" on the main gate of the Hurriyat's primary office and tore down the separatist amalgam's signboard. The gate was closed.
