'Boycott Chinese Goods': Arvind Kejriwal slams Centre over trade with China
The BJP government wants to project the image that everything is great even though Chinese aggressiveness is intensifying and border tensions are mounting.

Digital Desk: Aam Aadmi Party National Convener Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday called for a boycott of Chinese products while speaking at the national council meeting following the MCD and assembly elections. We are currently having the national council meeting.

"Today, I make a call to action for the Indian people to begin boycotting Chinese products using this forum. Addressing the party members, Kejriwal said, "I appeal to the Government of India to show some guts and learn to appreciate the warriors of our country.

The BJP government wants to project the image that everything is great even though Chinese aggressiveness is intensifying and border tensions are mounting. China is being rewarded by the central government rather than being punished, he claimed.

Speaking at the event, Kejriwal attacked the BJP-led Centre, saying it was rewarding China for its aggression while brave soldiers were battling.

"We imported items from China totaling $65 billion in 2020–2021. This increased the next year to $95 billion. India's industrial capabilities need to be improved. From China, we are importing clothing, glasses, and shoes. Can't these products be produced in India? "Kejriwal enquired at the time.

"China will learn its lesson the day we start paying attention to it and cease importing such enormous sums of money, like 95 billion dollars. 90 per cent of the goods that we are importing from China, all these goods can be made in India," Delhi CM said.

Something unsettling is taking place at the moment. Our men are heroically fighting at the frontiers as Chinese assault there increases. Kejriwal highlighted during the national council meeting that the issue is that we appear to be praising China for its aggression.
