    Assam CM assures hospitals, roads, and women empowerment; urge voters to avoid ‘lock and key’ in Bha

    Bajali:  While campaigning at Assam’s Bajali for the upcoming by-elections in the state, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has made a number of assurances to the voters.





    Among them, CM Sarma has vowed to provide the residents of the BTR area of Bajali district’s Bhabanipur a 30 bedded hospital for further improving the health facilities in the region. He said the construction of the hospital will start within the next three months. Apart from a hospital Sarma also expressed his wish to build a nursing home in the area.





    Besides healthcare, Sarma also promised to improve the condition of roads and infrastructure in the area. He said that the roads in the constituency will be renovated with the help and assistance of BT Chief Pramod Bodo.

    Additionally, he also talked about women's empowerment in his speech. He said that women in the state should come and progress further with their social work.





    He also added that a handloom production center will be set up for which the government will spend around 15 crores.





    Furthermore, he stated that the ruling party has been performing very well for the state after receiving people’s mandate for the next five years.





    While campaigning for the by-elections in a joint rally organized by BJP, AGP and UPPL in the Bhabanipur constituency CM Sarma urged the voters to avoid ‘lock and key’ and extend their support and vote for the BJP and their candidate Phanidhar Talukdar.
