CBI concludes probe into SI Junmani Rabha's death, rules it as an accident
This development marks the end of their involvement in the matter and the team is set to return to Delhi...

Digital Desk: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has officially closed its inquiry into the tragic death of Sub-Inspector Junmoni Rabha in Assam. Following a thorough investigation, the CBI has determined that her demise on May 16, 2023, resulted from a tragic accident and was not a case of murder or suicide.

The CBI team, after diligent examination, has filed a charge sheet in three related cases, which have been presented in the Nagaon Satra Judge's Court. This development marks the end of their involvement in the matter, and the team is set to return to Delhi.

Notably, concerns were raised by the family members of SI Jonmani Rabha, who suspected foul play and criminal involvement in her death. Her mother, Sumitra Rabha, even alleged pre-planned murder orchestrated by an unidentified racket.

However, the CBI's findings have dismissed these suspicions, providing clarity that her demise was indeed the result of an unfortunate accident.

The accident occurred in Nagaon district at Sarubhagia village under Jakhalabandha police station of Kaliabor Sub-Division, involving a collision between SI Jonmani Rabha's car and a container truck.

The CBI's conclusion brings a sense of closure to the mystery surrounding her death, offering the family some resolution.

Despite initial doubts and suspicions, the CBI's impartial investigation has ruled out any intentional harm or criminal activity, leaving the family to grapple with the somber reality of a tragic accident claiming the life of their loved one.
