Digital Desk: On Wednesday, the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Assam received assistance from a team of forensic scientists, about 21 days after the strange death of Morikolong sub-inspector (SI) Junmoni Rabha. The crew arrived at the scene of the accident with the CID Assam investigators, and they looked at the wrecked four-wheeler that SI Junmoni Rabha was operating on the nights of May 16 and 17.

Additionally, they looked into whether, if any, the accident had been caused by a flaw in the road's construction. However, no official statement was made public, and the media was not involved in this.

Abhajyoti Rabha and Rupjyoti Kalita tainted Assam Police officers, appeared at the Crime Investigation Department (CID) headquarters earlier on Tuesday after receiving a summons from the CID Assam.

During the probe into the sub-inspectors death in Morikolong, both of the officials' identities had surfaced.

Sources claimed that the mother of the deceased Junmoni Rabha was forced to face the two authorities. The mother of Junmoni stated, "I have lost all faith in the government and the police. The involvement of police officers prevented a fair investigation from occurring. It's been extremely challenging for me.

It should be mentioned that the truck driver who was responsible for the crash on May 16 that resulted in the death of Junmoni Rabha was given bail last month. During the ongoing inquiry into the case, he surrendered himself to the Assam Police CID and was thereafter taken into custody.

Following Sections 279, 427, and 304 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), a case had been filed against Sumit Kumar Pal, the driver of the truck that crashed directly with Junmoni Rabha's vehicle. In the subsequent accident, the Assam Police SI died.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of the Jakhalabandha Police Station, who was in charge of the investigation into the incident, provided details concerning the case involving Junmoni Rabha's death. Under sections 279/427/304(A) of the IPC, a case bearing case number 84/23 had been filed in connection with the incident.

Charges of rush and negligence, property damage, and causing death by negligence were brought against the driver; all of these offenses are bailable, indicating that police are treating Junmoni Rabha's death as an accident rather than taking into account the possibility that it was a premeditated act as suggested at various points during the ongoing investigation.
