Digital Desk: The mother of the young woman from Dhemaji who died in the Hengrabari area of Guwahati claimed that her death was not due to suicide but it was a planned murder.

The mother of the late Anushka Saikia broke down in tears and said that her daughter's murder was the result of a plot involving the owner of the rented house and domestic help. She also demanded the accused's arrest and legal punishment.

Anushka’s mother claimed, “My daughter cannot take such a heinous step of ending her own life. She was a very talented & brave girl. She has left us very soon. She did not commit suicide, she was murdered. I suspect that the owner of the rented house, Ramesh Bharali and the maid Junu Borah are behind my daughter’s murder. My daughter was a victim of a conspiracy hatched by the landlord and the domestic maid.”

Additionally, Anushka's mother claimed that the owner of the house frequently knocked on her door late at night to inquire about her well-being.

She did, however, clarify that Rahul Hazarika was not responsible for her death. She said that Rahul and Anushka's marriage was almost fixed.
Notably, Anushka Saikia's death was found at her rented home in the Hengrabari area of Guwahati on Sunday under strange circumstances.

According to initial reports, the woman had been employed as a beautician for the previous year at a nearby beauty parlour and resided in a rented apartment near Amrit Udyan in the Hengrabari area of the city. The departed woman was originally from Dhemaji in Assam.

Rahul Hazarika, the partner of the deceased woman, is reportedly being questioned by the police as a suspect in the death case after they discovered relevant details about him.

Additionally, it has also come to the fore that Junu Borah has been picked up by police for interrogation.
