    Guwahati: Indian boxer Lovlina Borgohain will be competing today against the reigning world champion Buzenaz Sumeneli of Turkey in the semis. Family members, fans, and well-wishers are praying for her victory at the sporting event.





    Before Lovlina, Vijender Singh and MC Mary Kom have won bronze at the Olympics. The 23-year-old pugilist from Assam is pitching to create history to become the first-ever boxer to reach the finals of the Olympics.





    Lovlina's father Tiken Borgohain is positive that his daughter will bring glory to the nation.
