Musk highlighted several issues with Apple in a series of tweets last week, including the 30% fee the iPhone maker charges software developers for in-app sales.
Digital
Desk: Twitter Inc plans to lower the price of its Twitter Blue
membership package to $7 from $7.99 if purchased through the website, and $11
if purchased through the iPhone app, according to the Information, citing a
source briefed on the plans.
According to the source, the decision was likely in response
to Apple Inc's 30% cut in profits from apps on its operating system, with a lower
price for the website expected to attract more customers to that platform
rather than signing up on their iPhones.
It
was not stated whether or not the pricing would alter on the Android platform
as well.

rectified.

and Apple did not react immediately to requests for comment.
