    Guwahati Water Pipeline Survey: First Phase of Robotic Survey Concludes
    After the conclusion of the first phase of the robotic survey, it identified malfunctions in 12 joints.

    Digital Desk: The first phase of the robotic survey to detect the flaws and leakages in the main water supply pipeline in Guwahati concluded. The survey was conducted so that future issues and failures could be prevented by the Guwahati Jal Board. However, the last two phases of the robotic survey were postponed given the customer's convenience.

    After the conclusion of the first phase of the robotic survey, it identified malfunctions in 12 joints.

    Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) legislator Ramendra Narayan Kalita inquired about the robotic survey in Guwahati on the second day of the 15th Assam Assembly budget session. Responding to his question, Minister of Public Health Engineering Jayanta Malla Baruah said that 12 faulty joints were identified.

    He further said that the government has now brought Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati experts for required action.

    Minister Baruah also said that the next phase of the survey will begin by August 2025.
