    Three colleges are to be established in Meghalaya by the Cabinet. Read on for details.

    Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma announced fisheries department to be set in Garo hills; however, the exact location will be selected when the fisheries department submits the details on the availability of options.


    Digital Desk: The Cabinet of Meghalaya has resolved to establish three colleges in the state: Veterinary, Dairy, and Fisheries Colleges.


    The Meghalaya Chief Minister announced this on his official Twitter account. "The Cabinet has established three colleges in the state: Veterinary, Dairy, and Fisheries." Veterinary and Dairy Colleges will be established in Kyrdemkulai, Ri Bhoi District, and Fisheries will be established in the Garo Hills District." - he penned.



    He went on to say that admission to these three universities will be based on the number of faculty members, with 60-100 seats available each year.
