In regards to India's preparations for the major finals against the five-time winners Australia, Rohit Sharma expressed optimism.

    When it came to the team's tasks, Rohit discussed how they were well-defined. He also mentioned that the D-Day preparations had been ongoing since he took on the captain's hat in 2022.

    "Since I took over as captain, we have been getting ready for today. In accordance with the guidelines, we had to identify players from the previous two years. We had made roles clear and had several conversations between the coach and the captain. Role clarity is crucial to our success in achieving this platform. We have made every effort to maintain clarity regarding duties and mentality. So far, so good. Hopefully, tomorrow will be better too," Rohit Sharma said.

    Australia lost their subsequent match against South Africa, but they have won eight straight games since then. Australia will compete in their eighth World Cup of ODIs.
