of the feature has been posted by WaBetaInfo. It shows that if a person
attempts to connect to their WhatsApp account from a different smartphone, they
will be subjected to a double verification process.

WhatsApp
will ask you to provide a second security code, which it will transmit by SMS
to the account's owner. Users currently only have to enter a single 6-digit
verification code that they receive on their registered phone number. Users
will be aware that their account is being accessed on a mobile phone thanks to
the double verification feature.

Because
some users have lost their accounts in the past, the addition of double
verification will be a crucial feature. Some WhatsApp users may have been duped
into providing the verification code, according to reports. If a hacker tries
to access your WhatsApp account, they will now need a second 6-digit code. The
second code will simply be sent to the account owner, along with a notification
that someone is attempting to access your account. You'll be able to tell
whether someone is attempting to hack your account or trick you in this way.

According
to WaBetaInfo, the double verification function is currently under development
and should be provided to beta testers shortly if WhatsApp decides to move
forward with it. On iOS, the feature has been discovered.

As a
result, it's possible that the company may first test it for the Android
version before releasing it to beta testers.
