Digital Desk: The Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta has once again made headlines after sharing a deeply emotional video on Instagram, where she is seen crying and alleging severe harassment at her own residence. The video went viral and attracted the attention of people who started debating it.
Tanushree, in her Instagram post she posted a video crying and pleading, and along with the video she wrote : "I'm sick and tired of this harassment!! It's been going on since 2018 #MeToo Aaj fed up hokar maine police ko call kiya. Please, someone, help me! Do something before it's too late."
The actress further alleged that people have intentionally planted housemaids in her home who steal from her, contributing to both financial and emotional distress. “I can’t hire maids anymore. They come, steal, and create problems. I’m doing all my housework myself. My home is a mess. People show up outside my door. Please, someone help me,” she pleaded.
Together with the video, Tanushree posted the following lines: "I am fed up of this harassment!!" It has been on since 2018 MeToo Aaj fed up hokar maine police ko call kiya. Somebody help me! Act now, it is not too late."
Tanushree had already ignited the #MeToo movement in India back in 2018 when she had accused actor Nana Patekar of behaving inappropriately with her during a movie shoot back in 2008, which Patekar has denied.
Best known for her roles in the movies such as Aashiq Banaya Apne, Dhol, and Bhagam Bhag, Tanushree recent revelation have brought up doubts regarding the safety and mental well being of women in the entertainment industry.
