Digital Desk: Aneet Padda, just 22 years old, is quickly becoming a household name in Bollywood, winning hearts with her natural charm and impressive screen presence. Saiyaara’s star Aneet is being hailed as the next big as the new big thing by casting directors to the Gen-Z generation audience. Yet her fame was not acquired by privilege; it was through hard work, constant auditions, and a good academic education in the humanities.

Born in Amritsar, Punjab, Aneet had become interested in acting, so she went to Mumbai, where she initially appeared in advertisement commercials. Her beautiful appearance and fascinating aura attracted the attention and gave her a chance to get even greater opportunities. According to Yash Raj Films’ official website, her early ad work became her first step into the world of showbiz.

Academically, Aneet is grounded. She studied at Spring Dale Senior School and pursued a degree in Humanities at Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University—a fact confirmed by her LinkedIn profile .She remains connected to her alma mater, still following the college’s Students' Council on Instagram.

In Salaam Venky (2022) directed by Revathy and featuring Kajol, Aneet made her film debut in a small role. She made her breakthrough in the 2024 Amazon Prime Video web series, Big Girls Do Not Cry, where she received critical acclaim, playing Roohi, entering in the same league as Pooja Bhatt and Raima Sen.

The real game-changer was her audition for Saiyaara. Known for intense romantic dramas like Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villain, Mohit Suri was reportedly so impressed by her screen test that she was cast as the lead opposite debutant Ahaan Panday.

Aneet Padda is the latest upcoming star in Bollywood with talent, education and obvious screen presence.
