Digital Desk: A shocking incident of assault was reported from Shanti Nagar in Patharquarry, where a young man was allegedly attacked and seriously injured by a woman for singing a song by Zubeen Garg.
As per reports, the victim, identified as Jekua Marak, a resident of Shanti Nagar, was walking towards Patharquarry around 10 a.m. while singing a song by Zubeen Garg. During this time, a woman identified as Namita Gowala allegedly confronted him and attacked him with a stick, leaving him severely injured.
Despite being in a bloodied condition, the injured man reportedly carried the stick used in the assault and reached Noonmati Police Station to file a complaint against the accused.
Based on the complaint, police at Noonmati Police Station have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident.
