Digital Desk: Another incident of shocking kidnapping case has come to light in Guwahati city, this time in Pathar Quarry. CCTV camera captured the entire scene of the abduction.

The alleged kidnapping of a 14-year-old student, identified as Prakash Das, was captured in a CCTV footage. 

Prakash (14), son of Dhaneswar Das, a resident of Shankarjyoti Road, Dalbari of Satgaon, is studying in Class 8 at Glacier School, Pathar Quarry.

The victim was returning home on his bicycle after school on Saturday when the incident occurred.

Prakash's family said that their son did not return home.

The CCTV camera of a nearby shop of the Glacier School showed a young man, suspected to be a kidnapper, was holding the student's bicycle.

The victim's parents suspect that the man who was holding the student's bicycle may have kidnapped the student.

Dhaneswar Das lodged a complaint about the matter at the Noonmati Police Station. Based on the complaint, police have registered a case and are continuing an investigation.

However, the police are still not able to trace the student's whereabouts.
