The front portion of the Magic vehicle was completely crushed
Digital Desk: A road accident took place late at night on 11th February, at Mathgharia flyover in Guwahati involving a head-on collision between a Magic vehicle and a DI vehicle.
As a result of the impact, the front portion of the Magic vehicle was completely crushed, trapping the driver inside. Hearing his cries for help, passersby rushed to the spot and managed to pull apart the damaged front section of the vehicle, successfully rescuing him alive from the wreckage.
The injured driver, identified as Ratneswar Pathak of Kailashpur in Bamunimaidam, sustained critical injuries. He was rushed to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) by police and admitted in a serious condition.
The vehicles involved in the accident bear registration numbers AS25CC-6283 and AS01-HC-5781. Noonmati Police have seized both vehicles and initiated further investigation into the incident.
