During the interaction, the student body presented a comprehensive memorandum outlining their demands and suggestions. Key issues raised included the need for enhanced development initiatives within the Tiwa Autonomous Council (TAC) areas, protection of ancestral land rights, improvements in educational infrastructure, and measures for the preservation and promotion of Tiwa language and culture. The delegation emphasized the importance of empowering the TAC to effectively implement welfare schemes and projects for its constituents.

Chief Minister Sarma reportedly listened attentively to the issues presented by the ATSU representatives. He assured the delegation of the state government's unwavering commitment to the holistic development and welfare of all indigenous communities in Assam, including the Tiwas. The Chief Minister is understood to have promised a thorough examination of the points raised and appropriate action to address their legitimate grievances, reinforcing the government's inclusive development agenda.
