Amit Shah Arrives in Guwahati for Two-Day Visit; Roadshow Rescheduled

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also scheduled to visit Assam on 1^st April

Digital Desk: Today, Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Guwahati at 4:30 PM for a two-day visit, landing at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport via a special flight from Kolkata.

He was received at the airport by senior leaders, including MP Bhubaneswar Kalita and Assam BJP president Dilip Saikia, along with other party members.

As part of his visit, Shah is scheduled to participate in a major election rally in the city, with a roadshow from Arya Vidyapeeth Playground to Nepali Mandir. The roadshow, initially planned for 3:45 PM, has been slightly postponed.

Later in the evening, he will attend a meeting of BJP state office bearers at the party headquarters at 7:30 PM.

On the following day, the Home Minister will take part in “Vijay Sankalp” programmes in Dhekiajuli and Tihu.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also scheduled to visit Assam on 1^st April and 5^th April , adding momentum to the ongoing political activities in the state.
