Extensive preparations are underway at the Dhekiajuli Tea Garden playground ahead of his visit. Minister Ashok Singhal personally reviewed the arrangements to ensure all necessary measures are in place. As part of the welcome, lamps are being lit across Dhekiajuli, creating a festive atmosphere for the Union Minister’s arrival.

Amit Shah arrived in Guwahati on Saturday at around 4:30 PM, landing at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport via a special flight from Kolkata. Later in the evening, he attended a meeting of BJP state office bearers at the party headquarters at 7:30 PM.

Earlier, the Union Home Minister held a mega roadshow in Guwahati, drawing massive crowds and prompting heightened security arrangements across the city. The roadshow was conducted from Arya Nagar to Nepali Mandir, with enthusiastic supporters lining the route to catch a glimpse of the senior leader.
