The fraudster forged documents with a fake signature of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

Digital Desk: The notorious fraudster Sunil Baglari is  arrested after hiding in Guwahati,  as Arunachal Pradesh Police made the official get hold of the culprit. Sunil Baglari together with his gang members defrauded an Arunachal-based contractor out of approximately ₹1.5 crore showing fake work orders.  

The fraudster forged documents by creating a fake signature of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and stole money through promised government contracts. The fraudster operated a fraudulent operation throughout West Bengal by issuing fake work orders that brought him large payment returns.  

A legal case with number No. 25/25 was registered  at the Doimukh Police Station after the contractor filed their complaint in Arunachal Pradesh. The police arrested Baglari through investigations based on IPC sections combining 120(B), 406, 468, 471, 420, and 34. The government officials of West Bengal currently face suspicions about their role in this corruption scheme.  

Further investigation is underway to expose the full extent of this massive fraud.
