Digital Desk: A recent step taken by the Assam Government's Home Department announced promotions for 95 Inspectors of Police (UB & AB), elevating them to the rank of APS Junior.

This promotion would be advantageous to the promoted officers, who will get a monthly salary ranging from Rs 30,000 to Rs 1,10,000, as well as an additional grade pay of Rs 13,300.
