Several drivers of commercial vehicles expressed sorrow and worry over the incident at Mukroh's consequences, which left the general public dissatisfied and forced to endure difficulty.

Digital Desk: Following the tragic occurrence in Mukroh hamlet in the West Jaintia Hills of Meghalaya, tight restrictions on the use of commercial and private cars on the border between Meghalaya and Assam have been implemented, which has angered visitors and tourists.

It has been two days since the Assam Police Force began to implement the ban on passengers and tourists entering Meghalaya via commercial vehicles with Assam registration numbers.

It is also reported that commercial cars from Meghalaya were not permitted to enter Assam in Jorabat on November 23, forcing the drivers to disembark the passengers in the middle of the road.

Several drivers of commercial vehicles expressed sorrow and worry over the incident at Mukroh's consequences, which left the general public dissatisfied and forced to endure difficulty.

They also stated that they will be forced to raise cab fares as a result of the restrictions on entering Assam and Meghalaya, which will surely affect travellers but they have no other choice. They urged the state governments of Assam and Meghalaya to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
