Digital Desk: A Veerangana Commando member of the Assam Police has been suspended for using social media to promote an online gaming app.
 
The suspended Veerangana Commando has been identified as Papari Kalita, also known as  Kunhi.

Allegations have been made that Kalita gained popularity on social media by using her YouTube channel to promote advertisements for an online gambling app, which has led to her suspension. 

The home department issued the following order that read: "Papari Kalita of this unit is placed under suspension w.e.f.- on account of promoting Gaming Apps like "Rummy" on social media platforms which makes her unbecoming a member of the discipline Police force." 




This incident raises concerns about the ethical implications and its influence on the public.
