After 11 long years, woman will take charge and become the third women Chief Minister of Delhi.

September 21, 2024; Following the footsteps of Sushma Swaraj,and Sheila Dikshit,  Atishi Marlena will be sworn in today as the 3rd women Chief Minister of Delhi at 4:30 pm. Arvind Kejriwal on 17th September Tuesday announced his resignation as the Chief Minister of Delhi and he proposed Atishi Marlena as his replacement. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) shows their faith and confidence in her and their ability to continue the legacy.

Atishi a renowned face within the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is an Indian politician, and political activist and is known for her robust academic background and her commendable work in the field of education, as the Minister of Education in the Delhi Government. Her appointment as the new Chief Minister is a strategic move by AAP to get its administration back on track. 


Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena will administer the swearing-in ceremony. Along with Atishi Marlena five other leaders will be sworn in as ministers. This reshuffle in the Delhi Cabinet will include AAP leaders,  Gopal Roy, Kailash Gehlot, Sourav Bhardwaj, Imran Hussain, and
Mukesh Ahlawat, who will be the new name in this cabinet.


As Delhi's political landscape takes a drastic shift, Atishi steps up as challenges await and Delhi braces for a new wave of leadership.
