Digital Desk: Jyotirmay Das from Bajali has secured the first position in the HSLC Examination 2026 results announced today, bringing immense pride to his family, school, and the entire community.


A resident of Morkar in Bajali, Jyotirmay’s home has been filled with joy and celebration following the announcement. A festive atmosphere was also witnessed at Sankardev Sishu Niketan, Patacharkuchi, where he studies.


Jyotirmay comes from a modest family background. His father, Satish Das, works at a private nursing home in Pathsala, while his mother is Babita Das. His remarkable achievement has brought happiness to the entire village. Locals celebrated by carrying him on their shoulders in a procession through the village.


Jyotirmay aspires to become a doctor in the future. Soon after the results were declared, teachers and staff of Sankardev Sishu Niketan reached his residence and later escorted him to the school in a celebratory procession.


At the school, students and staff marked the occasion with firecrackers and Bihu songs. The school authorities, including the principal and staff members, expressed immense pride and joy over Jyotirmay’s outstanding achievement, which has brought great recognition to the institution.
