Digital Desk: Today, morning around 10:00am, a water pipeline burst was reported in Panbari under Chandrapur, causing major disruption in the area. The incident occurred in the Missamari locality.
The powerful burst led to significant damage, with a portion of the Chandrapur–Digaru road being washed away. The incident took place after a pipeline from a water supply project, meant to supply water to the Narengi Army Camp at Digarumukh, ruptured.
According to sources, the project was designed to provide clean drinking water to the Narengi Army Camp in Chandrapur. However, allegations have surfaced that substandard materials were used during the installation of the pipelines, resulting in repeated pipe bursts at various locations and such incidents.
