Digital Desk: India faces widespread disruption today as a national strike has been organized by the workers of the ten central trade unions (CTUs).
The strike put life to a standstill in several regions across the country.
In Khanapara, Guwahati, the strike has led to the complete suspension of public transportation.
All buses, taxis, and other public vehicles have ceased operations, leaving commuters stranded.
Even services like day and night buses are not running today. Super buses have also stopped operating.
Drivers had previously informed the media that there would be no bus services on July 9, allowing passengers to make alternative travel arrangements.
Public transportation across Assam remains entirely shut down for the day as the strike continues to impact daily life.
