Bholaa, starring Ajay Devgn, is the official remake of Karthi's Kaithi...

Digital Desk: After not receiving a positive response in advance bookings, Ajay Devgn's Bholaa saw an upward swing and grossed a respectable Rs 11.20 crore on its opening day due to the Ram Navami vacation in several areas of the nation. It began similarly to Ajay Devgn's past films like De De Pyaar De, Raid, Son of Sardaar, Action Jackson, and Shivaay.

Due to its 3D and IMAX formats, the film performed well in the state's mass circuits and also benefited in the multiplexes of major cities. It will be critical for the film to hold steady today and pick up steam on Saturday and Sunday to bring up a respectable total throughout its prolonged debut weekend.

For those who are unfamiliar, Bholaa is the official version of Karthi's Tamil movie Kaithi, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.

The film has received accolades for its high-octane stunts. Ajay Devgn previously stated, "The action of Bholaa is one of the highlights of the film." The truck-bike chase was the most difficult to pull off. I wish my father (Veeru Devgn) could have seen the film. He would have probably slapped me on the back because he spent his entire career developing film action. He was in a league of his own. Yet he'd understand where I'm coming from. I must say that something my father did has stayed with me."

Ajay Devgn produced and directed the film, which stars Tabu, Vineet Kumar, Deepak Dobriyal, and Sanjay Mishra. At the box office, the film competed with Nani and Keerthy Suresh's pan-India hit Dasara.
