Digital Desk: A violent altercation broke out between two groups in Rangalu Basti, under the jurisdiction of Kachua Police Station in Nagaon district, following a dispute over a money transaction.

Imdadul, a young man from Rangalu Basti who works outside the state, had entrusted Rs 30,000 to a local youth named Jahangir, asking him to deliver the money to his family.

However, Jahangir allegedly misappropriated the amount instead of handling it over to Imdadul's family.

When Imdadul returned home and confronted Jahangir to recover the money, the situation escalated from a heated argument into a physical altercation.

Both parties sustained severe injuries and were subsequently admitted to Kachua Model Hospital for medical treatment.

Adding to the complexity, Jahangir claimed the money was given to him as a loan with interest, further fueling the dispute.

Both parties have since filed complaints with the Kachua Police Station, and an investigation into the matter is currently underway.
