The Chief Minister emphasized that failure to meet the timeline would result in serious consequences

Digital Desk: Today, Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma conducted an on-site inspection of the ongoing bridge construction over Dama Chiring Bridge at Masa Akong (Cinema Hall area) in Williamnagar. The visit by the CM  is due to concerns Minister Marcuise Marak brought up about serious delays in the project.

During the visit, the Chief Minister also reviewed the Dorengkigre intake point of the Williamnagar Urban Water Supply project. As the project was moving too slowly, Sangma firmly warned the company responsible. He told them to send reports each day and ensure they completed everything on time.

According to the Chief Minister, failing to fulfill the timeline could result in the firm being banned from future projects in Meghalaya and blacklisted. The government has promised to finish vital projects on time to benefit the public, he explained.
